The Leadership Tangipahoa Organization proudly announces the Class of 2008. 19 eager participants recently attended a welcome reception hosted by former Leadership Tangipahoa Chairman Guy Recotta. The group met less than one week later during the 3-day retreat that focuses on team-building and explores leadership skills. Leadership Tangipahoa students will complete nine all-day sessions focusing on a specific aspect of Tangipahoa Parish, such as history, state government, education, media, the judicial system, economic development, etc. Sessions include lectures, simulations, group discussion, panel presentations, field trips and community projects. Further information regarding the Leadership Tangipahoa program may be found at www.leadershiptangi.org or by calling: 985-549-3199
The mission of Leadership Tangipahoa is to improve the quality of life in Tangipahoa Parish by training a diverse group of current and emerging leaders about the interrelationships of community systems.
